14 Day ‘Happy Post ‘ Plan!

Are you ready?!!
Here’s a 14 day ‘Happy Post’ Plan for you.

😊14 Happy ideas, ( no doom and gloom required) to keep your pages and groups a happy and ‘let’s get on with it’ place to be!

👌It’s OK to keep posting your products.
👌It’s OK to keep recruiting.
👌It’s OK to keep smiling.

😊Be sensitive to the situation and don’t use the ‘C’ word as a false promise or a reason to work from home! There’s no need to include it in your recruitment posts. Quite simply, if someone is looking to work from home, offer your opportunity. As you normally would. xx

😊 Keep it real. We are all in the same boat…all be it at a social distance!🤦‍♀️🤣

😊As mentioned in the ‘plan’, here are a couple of links to ‘whats in your fridge’…I love the idea of these…you tick the items you have and it will generate a recipe using only those items.

Likes or Follows? What is this craziness?!!

It’s one of those weird moments when you realise you have more likes than follows on your facebook page or more follows than likes!

What does it all mean? Let’s explain (because it has been keeping me awake and I need to sleep!!)

Like & following.

When someone likes your page, by default, they also ‘follow’. Edgerank, (Facebooks algorithim) will determine how often you see the pages posts.

However, they can choose to’ unfollow’. Their ‘like ‘ will still show but they won’t necessarily see your posts.

Like the page & ‘See first’ following

Quite a valuable type of like for a Facebook Page. Someone has visited the Page, clicked on the Following button and opted to change their follow status to See First. This overrides Facebook’s EdgeRank algorithm and ensures that someone will see a particular Page’s posts.

Their Like & Follow will show.

Like and not Following

Uh oh! Someone has liked your page but chose to unfollow. They won’t see the pages post, but their ‘like’ will still show.

Their ‘Like’ will show

Not liked but following.

They never liked it to start with and just hit that  ‘follow’. Whatever their reason, they will still see your posts. There could be many reasons they don’t want to be seen to like a page. Social listening maybe one reason.Simply keeping an eye on competitors, customer engagement, trends – that kind of thing.

No ‘Like’ but ‘Follow’ will show.

So, I hope this explains a little as to why we can see a difference in those figures! For me, I’m happy just knowing the difference and currently have more follows than likes. Oh and that ‘see first’ option – I’m liking that one very much!!

4 Easy-Peasy ways to work your Facebook Shop – and another one!!!

The wonderful thing about your Facebook shop is being able to create product content once. ONCE! It doesn’t have to be every single thing you sell. Once it’s there…well…it’s there!

Your Shop Tab

Where do you stick yours?!

By moving your SHOP tab up, it will be one of the first things someone will see when they click on your page. Not only does it act as a ‘oooo, look at what we have’ but it enables a potential customer to click straight away on that product. Add your checkout link to your site and it opens up the whole of your products to be viewed.

Share your shop link.

You can share your shop link into your groups or direct to your customer via messenger. If you place products on marketplace and you get that ‘Is it still available?’ message pop up, you can share the link from your Facebook shop. It serves a purpose…the product…your page…your business when they click through.

Share collection link.

Within the shop , you can create collections and share the link to that collection. Perfect as an upsell opportunity! You don’t need to put everything in there. Maybe choose 5-6 items that would compliment  each other.

Tag your products in a post.

Obvious eh?! Adding items into your shop section means you can tag a product in a post you create . Maybe you’ve added a ‘this or that’ post ( Chocolates or perfume?)…a fun interaction post which you can tag that bestselling fragrance to…oh, and the chocolate hamper!

Tag your products in your cover photo.

Your cover photo feels lonely! Sat there looking pretty with nothing but ‘add a description’ when the image is clicked! Get your info in there. Where and  how can someone contact you…add your messenger link…add your group link…and you’ve guessed it, tag a product or two! Use it as your calling card.

Planning your ‘Themed Facebook Parties’.

Oh my goodness! I am going to be the first to hold up my hands and say “What? Already? I thought I’d got it planned!!”

Six weeks of ploughing through summer fun and this mom has fallen behind! Ironic? Absolutely! So , here we go …little one back at school, routine returned and oh boy , there is soooooo much to get done.

Thankfully , the great team at Cinchshare have yet again inspired and given us fantastic guidelines for getting Facebook Themed parties underway.

You can catch up with the training HERE and ; if you are not a cinch user yet; you can play around with it for 5weeks, free if you go here and use the promo code CINCHFREE.

Here’s a few pointers for you from the training, along with some freebies…

What is a Facebook Party?
Put simply it’s the online version of a home party. Many of the activities are the same as a home party.

It’s created on Facebook at a specific location (in an event or group) and at a specific date and time.

The party host and guests hang out together online to read/watch a series of posts for a pre-determinded amount of time.

Posts can be a mix of status messages, photos and videos. Guests can learn all about your products and have fun doing it from their computer, tablet or phone in their fluffy slippers a cup o’ tea to hand!(or Gin!).

Themed Parties

At home or on Facebook, the goal is the same:guests are placing orders and begging you to book a party of their own!

Theme Parties set you apart as different and fun.

The best day/time to host an online party?

Quite simply, it’s different for all of us and dependant on what your hostess would prefer.

Many find success  on weeknights instead of weekends. Others will want them at the beginning of the week rather than the end.

TOP TIP: Whatever time you choose, focus on days and times when people are naturally on Facebook.

Setting up the Party

You :the consultant; will want to make it as easy as possible for the Host. All they need to concentrate on is inviting their friends & family.

All you have to consider is setting up the party. Here’s how within in a group.

You will need:
1) An awesome Cover Photo — this will go at the top (also known as a banner image) of the group/event. It needs to be something that gets people excited when they come to the party because it is the very first thing they see when they get there, regardless if they are logging in from their computer, tablet or phone. First impressions are crucial and your cover photo/banner is that first impression!
2) Party Details – Add all of the party details to the Group Description so the guests know the time, date, location, ordering link, etc. Anything a guest needs to know, put it there.
3) Once the group is completely set up, you can choose whether to add your Hostess as an admin or not.

TOP TIP: By creating a group ( for each host) should they deicde to join your team , you will already have a ‘customer group’ set up for them, with a foundation of their customers. What a fantastic start  for your ‘new team member’.

TOP TIP 2:  As a cinchuser you can schedule ALL your party posts ahead of time. The next time you need to schedule a party, your posts are already saved within cinchshare and you just recycle/batch post for a new group. Timesaver!

>>>To help you get started here is a nice little planner for you. Use it as a guide. If you get stuck for ideas when it comes to engagement posts join ‘Your Home Biz’ group for weekly ideas. It’ll be great to see you there.
